What should I bring to an assessment?
Just bring swimwear, a towel, and any specific questions you have. We provide all other equipment needed for the assessment.
How long does an assessment take?
Assessments typically take 15-20 minutes in the water, plus time to discuss class options and answer your questions.
Do you offer classes for complete beginners?
Absolutely! We welcome complete beginners of all ages. Our instructors specialize in building water confidence from the very beginning.
What are your class sizes?
Halifax: 4-7 children per group (assistants support larger groups). Rastrick: 5-6 children with teacher (or teacher + assistant). Pre-school (0-3 years): up to 9 per group.
Do you offer lessons for children with additional needs?
Yes! Children with additional needs can join group classes or private lessons depending on their requirements. Please discuss with our team for personalised advice.
What should I bring to lessons?
Children over 3 need hat and goggles (available to purchase: £7 each). Children under 3 (not potty trained) need reusable swim nappies. We recommend one large bag for belongings.
How much does an assessment cost?
£18 for children who can already swim without armbands with face in water and actual strokes. We'll assess and advise on appropriate class placement.
Are your instructors qualified?
Yes, all our instructors are professionally qualified and have undergone DBS checks. We maintain the highest teaching standards.
